Earlier this week, Universal Pictures released the new trailer for their upcoming reboot Jem and the Holograms, based on the cult classic animated TV series.
If you still find yourself in need of a Jem fix, then you’re in luck, because today the studio put out a music video, set to the band’s song “Youngblood.” The video does feature plenty of new footage that we didn’t see in the trailer, including another look at the pint-sized robot named Synergy.

The first trailer didn’t feature Synergy at all, but now we’ll have to wait and see how hardcore fans react to this departure from the original series. There are still plenty of similarities between the movie and TV show, with the story following a small-town girl who catapults from underground video sensation to global superstar, as she and her three sisters begin a one-in-a-million journey of discovering that some talents are too special to keep hidden.
In Universal Pictures’ Jem and the Holograms, four aspiring musicians will take the world by storm when they see that the key to creating your own destiny lies in finding your own voice.
