Violence against women is an issue that we should all be aware of.

He’s receiving all sorts of flak for this.

Whether or not Eminem meant his lyrics to be this suggestive and disturbing, he is infuriating people, especially on social media. This isn’t the first time he’s said something controversial or alluded to rape. He has some inappropriate words not only in this song but also in his previous singles. Dr Dre’s first album in 16 years has been released and some fans are accusing the record’s lyrics, which include graphic reference to violence against women.

The rapper/producer’s long-awaited new LP is inspired by new NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton and follows on last effort ‘2001’ in 1999. It features guest spots from Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Xzibit and more.

Meanwhile, at the end of the song ‘Loose Cannons’ – which features Xzibit and COLD 187um – there’s a skit which seems to depict Dre murdering and burying a woman.

Dr Dre recently announced that he will donate royalties earned from ‘Compton’ to the funding of a new performing arts and entertainment facility in the city of Compton.
